Wow! Sounds like everyone is starting June off with a bang!

I've been going through one of the worst situations with a banking organization that I've probably ever gone through...and well, I hope its finally come to a head- for I am totally exhausted mentally and physically by it. Its been very disturbing, sorry if I haven't been here as of late..the worry and frusteration, stress has been working its magic on me lately..

SAM-e is an interesting med... I've never taken it- but I have heard that it can be very helpful.
I had to stop using Celexa because it was messing up my sleep cycle- I was awake till five am in some instances, due to it. I literally couldn't sleep. So changing meds really helped. I've not had that problem with the Effexor. One has to be very careful of meds- either alternative or allopathic...

Methedone and Neurontin.. that is really hard core stuff!!! Go slowly getting off it.. M.S. is an interesting syndrome- I guess you can call it- they say, that stress can set it off in people who have it.. sometimes it can act like its not there- and then be there... in anycase, there is some kind of standard treatment for it. Hopefully,Cindy, they will find the answer for you and be able to treat you accordingly. Sometimes it just takes time, and lots of patience. I guess that is why they call us patients????

I went for years undiagnosed correctly.. being treated for a problem that wasn't truly the problem- and now- that its isolated, I can get the help I need- but like many syndromes- its all hit and miss, and learning to cope with it. Thats the hardest thing I've found, learning that. Another factor is, that I can be very stubborn about things- and not do as I am told at times, which makes it harder, (like occaisionally eating Wheat- when I s hould be Gluten Free, or not getting enough sleep--etcetera). And when I do such things, I suffer the consequences.
Cindy- one thing that may help, is learning how to be stress free, and how to relax totally.. as well as perhaps changing how you eat in some aspects. I've always believed that a diet- does help and is a good place to start.. I don't mean a "diet" like South beach or WW... or even Atkins, but perhaps slowing down on Red meat, and eating more Grains, and whole type foods, without all the additives, and perhaps lessing the salt. I know, going on a Gluten Free diet, and cutting down on the Salt, eradicating the Alcohol, as well as prepared foods and Junk foods, has helped me. I lost forty pounds, and truly feel very good following it. It seems to have cut down on my pain in my joints, as well as elsewhere.. Today, I am paying the consequences, because I had some comfort foods and wheat. I've been very stressed lately, and frusterated, and well, just totally went off the beaten path in every way. Too much sugar, my fingers were tingling... and now my gut is upset from it.. due to what I was eating. I was even getting terribly depressed not to mention losing my temper. Diet can make a difference as well as exercise (moderate nothing extreme.. like a walk in a garden, per se), and rest-- maybe even meditation.. or prayer. These tho- are just suggestions from my experience.
