Welcome!
Here is a place you may just come to be with friends who understand what you're going thru. We represent many chronic illnesses and their varied symptoms and the situations they produce. Each day is a challenge, but hopefully you will be able to share yours with friends who care. Please join us!

Her son gave me her room number at the rehab.
She is in a great bit of pain and she was taken not to The Elms Rehab Center, but to Merwick Rehab Center instead (which is an acute care rehab). This due to
the complications she developed after surgery. Her breathing situation.
She can be more closely monitored at Merwick.
She has started the painful physical therapy and has a long road ahead. You must realize that with a avascular necrosis, carole has already undergone a
continuous series of surgeries for years. So many I can hardly remember but well in the twenty's or maybe closer to 30 range by now. The older one gets,
the extra illnesses such as FMS and other disorders, these all make it harder to endure and recover. She's had far more than her share to have to get
through. She will this as well. She's a survivor and a fighter for sure, but this one has been really tough.
She's at the Merwick Rehab Center in Princeton, Rm. #325 Bed #1
It's on Bayord Lake Road. I don't know the zip code.
She'll be there all next week for certain and maybe longer. Please continue to pray for improvement in mobility, and less pain. That she can stand and move
around without the extreme discomfort.
I know she appreciates you all and all the loving thoughts and prayers.
Her sister will be w/her a just a few days. Michael will be there some. And hopefully her dil and grand kids will look in on her.
She's still in much pain. Has a good deal of swelling and the rehab has been tortuous.
She has a walker thing and a machine that someone has to help her put her leg into for the therapy. A therapist will be coming 3 X per week.
She is afraid that there may be a broken bone in the foot (same side that the knee surgery was just on).
Please pray that her pain will lessen as the swelling subsides. That God would keep her safe and able to move around in her own home and that the rehab will
progress well. This is going to be a long recovery for her. And, another broken bone in the foot is certainly not needed.
She's not up for much right now, but I know she appreciates your wonderful prayers for her!
Maybe when she perks up a bit we'll see her here. She's in so much pain right now though, it may take awhile.
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers on her behalf, we do really miss her around here.
