Physically, she's ok....mentally, she's been a wreck for months. Since my dad died, she's had money problems, but the last year has been hell on
her.
Everything keeps going wrong at her place. My brother and his girlfriend are still living there, and with more people comes more bills and more food.
She's having troubles with her insurance charging her more than she's supposed to pay, and that's been an uphill battle in itself.
Her septic tank keeps freezing up and her sewer backs up into the bathroom so they have ot watch how much they wash clothes or take a shower.
Her internet company just decided to start charging her for the minutes that my sister sits on the net at all hours of the day, and now she just got another bill after paying last month, even though for the last ten years she's paid one flat rate twice a year. Same company. I don't know what's going on there, but I have to find out tonight when I drive over.
NOW, her dog broke her leg this morning, and she's been calling around trying to find a vet that has an xray machine who can help her. One place an hour away said they did, and she drove all the way there just to find out that they had moved. Well, she was already upset, the weather has started snowing and sleeting, and she had a hurt dog in the van, so she went home and called me. I told her another vet to call, and I haven't heard from her since, so she must have gotten through to them, and they are only 15 minutes from her house.
Please, send a little prayer for her. She is already in financial trouble...she can't afford this vet bill on top of everything else. God sure is testing her, I think....and she's ready to break.
This weather is the LAST thing we needed right now. Dan and I are driving to Minnesota tomorrow (4 hours) to go to a confrence, and we really need the roads to be clear. I need to be able to get to my moms tonight so we can leave her house at 5 a.m. to go to this. Otherwise, we won't make it at all.
I hope all is well with those of you we aren't hearnig from lately, and thos eof you who have checked in recently!! WIsh us luck to get through all of this......
